PixelHop does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
PixelHop is a pixel-art endless runner in which a bronze athlete sprints across the rooftops of a ruined moonlit temple. The pages that follow describe, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with the things you type into it.
None. PixelHop asks for no account, no sign-in, no email address and no profile. There is no registration step, no analytics identifier and no advertising identifier anywhere in the app. The runner name and sigil you pick in the profile screen are typed by you, stored on your own device, and never sent anywhere.
For the app to work, the following is kept in the operating system's local storage, on your phone, and nowhere else:
None of it is uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes every byte.
None. The Android manifest declares no permissions at all and the iOS build requests no usage permissions, so PixelHop never asks for the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or storage. If a permission prompt ever appears while the app is open, it did not come from PixelHop.
PixelHop is entirely offline. The app contains no networking code — no HTTP client, no sockets, no cloud database and no remote configuration — so nothing about you or your play leaves the device. The game works identically in airplane mode.
No third-party SDKs are integrated. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising network, no attribution kit and no social login. The open-source packages the app is built from — Hive and shared_preferences for on-device storage, Provider for state, and a few animation helpers — run locally and transmit nothing.
PixelHop is suitable for all ages. Because it collects nothing, transmits nothing and shows no advertising, there is no personal data belonging to a child (or anyone else) for us to hold, and nothing that could be sold or shared. This satisfies COPPA and the GDPR provisions covering children by design rather than by promise.
Everything the game knows about you lives in its own storage on your device, so you control it directly. Uninstalling PixelHop deletes all of it; on Android you can also clear it without uninstalling through Settings › Apps › PixelHop › Storage › Clear data. There is nothing held on a server for us to export or erase on your behalf, and no request form to fill in.
If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be revised, and material changes will appear in the app's release notes.
