None. There is no account, no sign-in, no email capture and no registration of any kind. CupNoteCellar never asks who you are, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. The taster name and palate note on your profile are labels for your own journal — they are stored on the device and are never transmitted.
To make the app work, CupNoteCellar stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to CupNoteCellar or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
CupNoteCellar requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files or calendar, and Android will never show you a permission prompt for it. The Android manifest declares the standard INTERNET permission that ships with every Flutter project, but the app contains no networking code and never opens a connection.
The app works entirely offline. There are no servers, no APIs, no analytics endpoints and no cloud sync — every screen, including the flavour wheel, the reference library of 60 entries and the palate trend charts, is drawn from data already on your device. You can keep the phone in airplane mode permanently and nothing about CupNoteCellar will change.
No analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or social SDK is integrated. The app is built with open-source Flutter packages that run locally and collect nothing: sqflite and shared_preferences for on-device storage, provider for state, fl_chart for the trend charts, flutter_svg for the illustrations, and intl, gap, flutter_animate and confetti for formatting and motion. None of them contact a network.
CupNoteCellar is a tasting journal for wine and coffee and is intended for adults; it is not directed at children and is not designed for them. Because the app collects no data at all, transmits nothing and shows no advertising, it cannot knowingly gather personal information from a child under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). If a child has used the app on your device, uninstalling it removes everything they wrote.
Your data never leaves your phone, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or erase on your behalf — you already hold all of it. Any tasting sheet or cellar item can be edited or deleted from inside the app, and your profile and preferences can be changed at any time. To remove everything at once, uninstall CupNoteCellar, or open Android Settings, choose Apps, select CupNoteCellar and tap Storage, then Clear storage. Either action deletes the local database and preferences permanently; because nothing is backed up to us, that data cannot be recovered afterwards.
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
