SumTideBlocks

SumTideBlocks is a single-player block-fusing puzzle game set in a sealed Egyptian tomb. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.

SumTideBlocks does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.

Information we collect

None. There is no account, no sign-in, no registration and no e-mail field anywhere in the game. Nothing you type is transmitted off the device — the only text you can enter is the display name on the Chronicle screen, and it stays in the app’s own storage.

Data stored on your device

To make the app work, SumTideBlocks stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to SumTideBlocks or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.

Permissions

None. The Android manifest declares no runtime permissions at all — no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no photo access, no storage access. The game never asks you for a permission because it never needs one.

Network use

SumTideBlocks is fully offline. It contains no networking code, contacts no server, and works exactly the same in airplane mode. The one exception is deliberate and initiated by you: tapping Share on the Chronicle screen opens the Android share sheet with a short line of text about your progress. Where that text then goes is decided by you and handled by whichever app you pick — SumTideBlocks does not send it anywhere itself.

Third-party services

There are no advertising, analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs in this app. No Firebase, no AdMob, no Crashlytics, no Facebook SDK, no AppsFlyer. The only third-party code bundled is a handful of open-source Flutter packages that run entirely on your device: sqflite and shared_preferences for saving your progress, flutter_bloc and equatable for app state, intl, collection, gap and flutter_animate for formatting and animation, and share_plus for the share sheet described above. None of them phone home.

Children's privacy

SumTideBlocks is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children in particular. Because the game collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either, so there is no personal information of a child under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK) for us to hold, use or disclose. If you believe otherwise, write to the address below and we will look into it.

Your rights

Every byte the game writes lives on your own device, so you are already in full control of it. To erase it, either clear the app’s storage from Android Settings › Apps › SumTideBlocks › Storage, or uninstall the game. Both remove your progress, balance, records and settings permanently. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing to request, export or object to.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
